Connexions overseas! Pen Pals in Utah

Our connexions are growing around the world. In order to get in touch with people from all over the place we need to practice our English, which is fantastic. As you may know English is the most international language, that's why is so important to learn it. It will allow us to meet and get in touch with incredible people. Because of that, we have decided that we need to be international too.

Our new international friends are from Utah, in USA. We are going to exchange some letters with the students of 3rd grade, our "Pen Pals". We have just sent them our letters to "Buffalo Point Elementary School". You can check their website here: http://www.davis.k12.ut.us/Domain/1346

It is a bilingual and public school, which means that these students are learning half of the day in English and an the rest of the day in Spanish. They are fully immersed, and because they also need to practice their Spanish, they will reply to us in Spanish!

We receive a package from USA! Halloween rocks!

6th graders have received a box from Utah with some Halloween stuff, it has been really exciting!

We have read their note, we have talked about some of the traditions about Halloween and we have opened some presents :)

















After that, we were ready to start celebrating our own Halloween. We have been decorating the class with moons, stars, bats, and pumpkins!

Dear Students,

My name is Tia, I am from Utah, in the United States of America (USA). I was living with your teacher, Miss Ana, during the last year.

I really like Halloween, it is my favorite holiday. The 31^st of October is the best day of the year for sure!! We dress up, we put on masks, scary customs, and we go from one house to an other to “Trick or Treat.”

I want you to enjoy this holiday as much as I do. I send you some books about Halloween, I hope you like them!! I also want to show you some pictures about our last year on Halloween.
